This course is an opportunity for you to come and learn about what mindfulness actually is, how to begin to cultivate it and how it can be applied in your daily life. This is a wonderful chance for you to develop your sense of wellbeing so that you are more able to manage life stressors and cherish the beautiful moments. Developing mindful awareness helps you to live a more rich and meaningful life.
This is a great opportunity for you to become part of a supportive mindfulness community. Each week there will be a chance to practice with the group, learn core mindfulness theory, to share about your experience and ask any questions you may have.
Why do the course rather than just learn mindfulness on an app? Transformation happens in relationship, mindfulness practice was never meant to be a totally solitary experience. You have the opportunity to be guided and supported by an experienced fully qualified mindfulness teacher and to be supported by others in the group. Studies show that people are more likely to create new habits when they have group support.

This course is being run as part of an assessment.
Carla-Jo is already a fully qualified Mindfulness Teacher having trained over two years with the internationally recognised Breathworks mindfulness training organisation headed by Vidyamala Burch a world expert on mindfulness for chronic pain. Carla-Jo has been teaching mindfulness for 6 years and has had a daily mindfulness meditation practice for 10 years.
Carla-Jo is now furthering her mindfulness training and is currently 1 year through a 2 year mindfulness teacher training course lead and written by two of the worlds leading mindfulness teachers Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Part’s of this course will have to be recorded (sound only) and at the end you will receive evaluation forms which will need to be filled out and returned as part of the assessment process. This is why the price is very low at just £50 for the entire course! There are only 10 places for this course so do get in touch to find out more and book your place.
The course will be run at the Soul Spa in central Bath. On Saturday mornings 11am-12.30pm.
