When I first discovered Hypnotherapy I was truly fascinated by the techniques used and how effective the overall results were, that I decided to learn more. Good question – During everyday life we use our conscious minds to make decisions, while your subconscious mind works in the background, storing information, memories and habits.
Hypnosis is not the same as sleep, instead you are guided into a state of relaxation, in which you are in full control. Once in this state your subconscious mind is more receptive to suggestion. The use for hypnosis includes modifying or eliminating un-desirable behaviour (such as smoking) and helping with anxiety or phobias. Or you may want sometime to yourself and allow your mind to relax from the everyday hustle and bustle.
