Join me on this inspiring, transfornational 90 minute workshop as we explore the power of ancestral healing .By connecting with our ancestors through journeying we can gain great insight, comfort and strength ,reminding us of our roots , where we belong and the bond we have with our tribe. But also looking at our shadow side ,at how trauma can be passed down through generations , reaping havoc in our lives, until.we process it.
We will also be touching on polyvagal theory and how we can recognise the changing flux of our bodies nervous systems response to it's interpretation of trauma ,and by simply being aware of this can help ground us and bring us back into a state of connection within our individual ladder of tolerance. So we will.be combining science with spiritual awareness to enhance our underatanding of trauma and how it is processed.and paseed on through genetic memory and behavioural patterns through generations.
It is so often our interpretation of the traumatic event can rather than the event itself that causes us to stay stuck in a trauma response until it is processed into the past.
Through somatic practices such as a soundbath and breathwork we will learn how we can strengthen our vagus nerve ,building our capacity to deal with lifes challenges and creating a safe space where we can feel held , heard and able to release what has held us back.
Through the language of the drum we connect with our ancestors and spirit guides. Through the it's resounding heart beat , the gateway to our subconscious is opened so that our unprocessed memories ,our shadows can begin to dance with the light and heal.We also celebrate our infinite connection we have with our ancestors through ritual and spirit.
As we find our own voice through chanting ,we connect with the echoes of our ancestors voices and hear their story , as it is so often ours.
As our bodies start to dance as we journey to the beat of the drum we start to unearth ourselves from the centuries of conditioning , of expectation of numbing ourselves and pushing through the pain.
As we relax in the full presence of our breath and bodies wisdom we connect with the songs witheld in the walls of our body's temple and hear whisper of our ancestors prayers to be healed and the messsages of strength they have for us.
Past ,present and future are healed when we connect with the original wound and release it . During this workshop we shall begin this lifetime process of unravelling the layers to heal the original cause. By doing this we can break the cycle of unhealthy patterns being repeated through our children and theirs.
